Well I signed up for www.couchsurfing.com...looks like its gonna kick a lot of...rear...end.
Basically, ebay for your couch. - It's all free...people through a comprehensive reference and vouching system get a hold of each other. All the trust is there because everyone relies on each other's trust and honesty. Bad feedback and you're likely not going to couch surf again.
So...what is it? You make your couch available (by choice) for free for travellers from around the world. What do you get out of it? You get to meet people from all around the world!
AND - You can contact people in exotic places you'd like to see and go stay THERE for free!!!
I cant wait till I have enough spare time to tour the world. It will be incredible!
